What's Not To Love?

Yoga
is for everyone

For everyone who likes to move and feel their body moving. For everyone who wants to build strength while filling up on energy and also for those just seeking a little peace and quiet. It is for everyone who wants to make conscious time for getting in touch with their true inner self and especially for those trying to bring more balance into their lives. Healthy body, healthy mind and such. What are YOU looking for?

Yoga
can be for you

No matter how old, how flexible or with how much time on their hands—anyone can do yoga. Every bit of practice has an impact. And every exercise can be made to fit your body, your mood, your level of energy. The most important question: What feels good to YOU right now? Be curious and open and everything will fall into place. And since practice makes perfect: stay patient. It is going to be worth it.

Yoga
feels great

Yoga will give you stability and strength while also feeling easy, both in body and in mind. If—just for a while—you focus only on your breath and your movement, a blissful calmness will set in. Followed by a feeling of serenity that you may even take off the mat with you. Some days it will be easier, some days harder—so what?! Be kind to yourself. Don't take yourself too seriously. Enjoy the experience as it presents itself.

May You Be Happy!

If you are just a little bit like me, you may find it difficult to do things calmly, wind down or fall asleep. Maybe you are often hectic or nervous, with your head in the clouds and your thoughts who knows where. Although the only thing you are truly longing for is clarity, ease of mind and more time spent in the present moment.

Have you tried meditation? Give your mind a task: Focus on your breath, on what you can hear, smell or taste and how your body feels. Use visualizations to embark on imaginary journeys. Or use mantras and affirmations to tune into your own meditative rhythm.

We all think constantly, all day long. Totally normal. And yet, it feels so good to go quiet in the body and the mind. Like a snowglobe that has been shaken vigorously, once it is put down, the snow slowly sets at the bottom. And suddenly you can see oh so very clearly. You are calm and content. And here.

Nice To Meet You!

I like laughing. Having people over. Weekend breakfasts. High temperatures. Summer nights. Jeans, beats, bicycles. Being in flow. Being silly. Postcards! The ability to listen. Taking a stance. Warm-hearts. Humble people. Lust for life! Creating. Things with a soul. Live music. Falling out of time. Freshly cut grass. Hands in the soil. Ink on skin. Growing organically. Forests. Greens. Spring. Furry purrers. Between active and lazy, urban and rural, aesthetics and pragmatism, buying things and dyi-ing things ... Life is good. Yay!

Yoga does not make things perfect.
But it makes so many things so much better.
Namasté.
